Nataliia Zinchenko - head coach of the women's football club "Metalist 1925"
"Metalist 1925" has signed a contract with the new head coach of the women's team. She is Nataliia Mykolaivna Zinchenko. The agreement is valid for two years starting from July 1, 2025.
In the new position, the coaching staff of the coach will include: Marina Masalska, Oleksandr Mytko, Dmytro Syniak and Anastasiia Kvartsiana.
Nataliia Zinchenko was born on October 3, 1979, in the village of Desna, Chernihiv region. She is a graduate of FC "Elegiya" (Bobrovytsia). In addition to several foreign clubs, she played in Ukraine for "Legenda," "Alina," and "Donchanka," with whom she won the championship in 1996. In the 2008/09 season, she was a finalist of the UEFA Cup. From 1994 to 2009, she represented the national team of Ukraine.
She ended her playing career in 2009, soon starting coaching abroad. In her homeland, she worked with "Zhytlobud-2"/"Vorskla" (2013-2024), as well as with the youth WU-19 team (2012-2018) and the national team (2018-2021) of Ukraine. Since February of this year, she has also been a part of the coaching staff of the Ukrainian WU-17 national team.Under her leadership, the team "Zhytlobud-2"/"Vorskla" became a 5-time champion of Ukraine and a 4-time winner of the Ukrainian Cup.
