Yevhen Nazarov: "Very dissatisfied with today's match"

The head coach of the youth team "Metalist 1925" Yevhen Nazarov summed up the match against "Kryvbas":

- I can say that the opponent completely outplayed us. More precisely, it's not that the opponent outplayed us, but we didn't play at all in the first half, in the second we started a little. Made substitutions, started to impose a struggle, moved the game to the opponent's half of the field, started to create some pressure on their goal. Football is a game, it needs to be played, not just fought... I am very dissatisfied with today's match because I can't call it a game from our side.

- You take a quite radical approach to substitutions, in the first game after the break you replaced three players, today immediately four. Is this your style?

- No, there was a certain plan for the game, we planned to refresh the game in the second half. We have more experienced and younger players - academy graduates who have just joined the team, so we wanted to refresh the game with the help of youth, among whom there are individually good players. But the first half made its adjustments, nothing worked for us, it's the achievement of the opponents who simply didn't lose the ball and didn't give us much time to make decisions and space. With substitutions, we wanted to correct the situation, although the second half of the game was somewhat better from our side, but it was far from what we want to see from our players.
