Interview with newcomers of WFC "Metalist 1925" - Daria Kolodiy and Milena Ivanchenko

Meet the new players of the women's team "Metalist 1925"! Daria Kolodii and Milena Ivanchenko - about why they chose football, their idols, and football dreams.

- Why did you choose football?

- Daria Kolodii: Football appeared in my life in childhood. It's a game that makes me happy.

- Milena Ivanchenko: I have been involved in this since childhood. I really enjoy it. I just love playing.

- Sometimes the game doesn't go as planned and the pressure on the players increases. How do you deal with it?

- DK: Teammates always help me, support me, and are always there for me.

- MI: There is always support in the team. The girls support and share advice on how to deal with it.

- Who is your football idol?

- DK: I like the game of Diana Bielakova (former player of "Kryvbas"). She has great speed, dribbling, and shooting.

- MI: I admire the game of Alexia Putelyas and Vicky Lopez. I play in the same position as they do.

These football players see the field well and play with the ball nicely.

- What is most important to you in football?

- DK: Victories, goals, and team spirit.

- MI: Team. Winning with the team and developing. Achieving team and personal goals.

- What are your football dreams?

- DK: I want to join the Ukrainian national team and win the Champions League.

- MI: I aspire to debut in the Champions League and win the "Golden Ball".

- How do you prepare for the season and what motivates you?

- DK: Before the season, I pay a lot of attention to physical fitness, nutrition, and recovery. I am motivated to become stronger every day and win wherever possible.

- MI: I approach training with discipline, work diligently, and also engage in individual training.
