Natalia Zinchenko: "The main task was to play without injuries"

Afterword of the head coach of the women's football club "Metalist 1925" Natalia Zinchenko and the head coach of the women's football club "Kryvbas" Kostiantyn Frolov after the match, which ended with the victory of the "yellow-blues" with a score of 8:0.

Natalia Zinchenko ("Metalist 1925"):

- There is little to comment on. I want to thank the girls for the game, the result, many goals, and three points. In the second half, we started to save some energy as we are preparing for the Champions League. The main task was to play without injuries so that we could go to Sweden with a full squad. Some players have minor health problems, but I think that in a few days we will all be together.

I want to thank the girls from "Kryvbas" for their dedication. Anna Avramenko had to play in goal. I want to say that she performed well, so we have another goalkeeper in Ukraine. Thank them for the game and wish them success!

Kostiantyn Frolov ("Kryvbas"):

- Congratulations to "Metalist 1925" on a big victory! The class of the team was evident. We understood who we were playing against - an experienced and strong team. We succeeded in some aspects at the beginning of the game, and failed in others. The red card in the second half completely disrupted the game. I believe there should not have been a red card. The referee could have made a different decision.

We supported the girls. We have a young team. I'm tired of repeating that we are young and inexperienced, but that's the reality. We need to go through this path. We need to grow by playing against such opponents to improve our level of skill and be competitive.

- Did the fact that two players from your team recently moved to "Metalist 1925" affect the team in any way?

- I would also mention Olha Basanska, Kristina Aleksanyan, and Iryna Shabalina (Kokhneva), who played for us. Clearly, it had an impact. We became weaker, especially in terms of attack, where we are missing four performers who played last season. We are building a new team with a new attacking line with girls who are 15 years old.
