"Metalist 1925" - silver medalist of the Ukrainian Women's Rugby-7 Cup

On the last day of summer at the Lviv stadium "Yunist" four women's rugby-7 teams competed for the second most important trophy in the country - the Cup of Ukraine.

The traditional composition of the participants includes teams from the Super League from Kharkiv, Lviv, Odesa, and Ivano-Frankivsk. For three hours, there was a fierce battle on the green field, with teams unwilling to give in to each other. While our girls dominated in the three rounds of the Championship, currently holding a one hundred percent result, luck smiled upon the Lviv team in the Cup. The main match of the day between "Metalist 1925" and "Levitsi" was interesting and intense. The nominal hosts emerged victorious and ultimately became the holders of the honorary trophy. "Metalist 1925" - second, RC "Odesa" - third, "Prykarpatski Vovchytsi" - fourth.

"Metalist 1925" congratulates "Levitsi" on their victory! Currently, our team has started preparing for the final round of the Super League. Considering that the 4th game day has no tournament significance for our team, the coaching staff will allow those girls who played less, did not play at all, or were recovering from injuries to participate. It will be hot in Odesa on September 6!
