In an interview with the president of "Metalist 1925" Bohdan Boyko, learn about how the club is building a system in all directions, what has changed since the arrival of head coach Mladen Bartulovich, and why trust from the Kharkiv fans is important not only for the team's series of results:

– After a series of games without defeats, including victories and draws – in matches against "Dynamo" and "Shakhtar," how do you evaluate the team's interim result at this stage?

– In these results, we see positive signals, the team is growing and becoming more confident. But it is important for us not to relax because there are still many important matches ahead. This is just a stage of the journey. It is too early to draw big conclusions – we need to continue working steadily.

– Can it be said that the gradual improvement in results is restoring the trust of Kharkiv fans in the team?

– We feel that the support from the fans is growing. This is very motivating. But trust needs to be not just earned – it needs to be constantly reaffirmed. That's why we are moving step by step and doing everything possible for people to be proud of the club and always support it.

– Six matches without defeats is already a certain trend. In your opinion, what key internal changes have taken place in the club recently that have helped achieve stability?

– We had personnel changes in the summer – a new head coach arrived (ed. Mladen Bartulovich), the coaching staff was restructured, and new players joined. But it is important to emphasize: these are not just short-term decision effects. The club has been systematically working for over two years to build a coordinated structure in every aspect of FC "Metalist 1925" activities. We pay attention to all areas: sports, administrative, media, analytical – nothing is overlooked. It is this consistent, daily work that forms the foundation that is now yielding results.

– The arrival of coach Mladen Bartulovich has shown a positive result for the team. What moment convinced you that "he is the one for us"?

– From our first communication with Mladen Bartulovich, we saw that his approach aligns with our vision for the club's development. He clearly understands how the team should work, has a deep understanding of the game, is not afraid to take responsibility, and has a systematic mindset. But equally important are his personal qualities. It was clear from the beginning that he is the person we are comfortable working with: close to us in values, in attitude towards people, football, work. The interim results of the new season only confirm the correctness of this choice.

– Are there any internal incentives or principles in the club to maintain the motivation of the players in case of a positive series of results?

– We have internal team motivation mechanisms. But the main incentive for everyone is stable progress, results, and trust from the club and fans. We are building a system that works not from case to case, but for the future. And if our results remain the same as they are now, or become even better, then every player, every club employee, every fan will derive maximum satisfaction from this process. In such a situation, there will be no losers.
