Yevhen Nazarov: "We had moments throughout the whole match"
Senior coach of "Metalist 1925" U19 Yevhen Nazarov summed up the draw with "LNZ" in the 10th round of the youth championship:
– The match was tough, what words do you find to summarize it?
– I can only say that this is youth football. Sometimes, despite playing well and creating many chances, you don't achieve the positive result you could have.
– Would you agree that at 2:0 the team had several opportunities to increase the lead and close the match?
– We've had cases where we were winning 4:1 and didn't secure the victory, so it's hard to say. The game wasn't closed, and we had chances throughout the match. The boys created chances and played football, but unfortunately, didn't win.
– How did Karpizin's injury at the beginning of the match affect the course of events? Is there any information about the player's health?
– I can't say anything for sure yet. Karpizin injured his shin, he will undergo an MRI procedure, and then we'll see. I can say that Bagriy, who played instead of Karpizin as a center forward, also performed well.
