Artem Shabanov: "Polissya has a pretty good attacking line"

Defender of "Metalist 1925" Artem Shabanov in an interview with the club's press service talked about the preparation and expectations for the upcoming UPL match against "Polissya":

– Artem, tell us about today's training, what was its nature?

– It had more of a recovery nature because it's only the second day after the game with "Agrobusiness." We need to recover well and prepare for the next game.

– How difficult is it to move around in such a schedule now, as matches are very frequent, considering cup competitions?

– I wouldn't say it's too frequent. There is time to recover, so I hope we will approach the next game normally.

– A serious opponent is ahead. What can you say about them, maybe you will have a special attitude towards "Polissya"?

– No, there won't be a special attitude. I will have the same attitude as to all other teams. We need to go out, show our game, and try to achieve the best result for the team.

– The current coach of "Polissya" was your mentor last season. What can you say about his team in general, maybe you can prepare something for your defensive line knowing the style of the opponents' coach?

– I know a little about how they try to build up and how they can transition from defense to attack. I believe everyone sees everything now. You can watch the game, make clips, highlight good and bad actions. That is, you can see how each team plays and analyze it. It's not as difficult to do now as it was a few years ago.

– In the attacking line of "Polissya" there are currently two scoring forwards. Is your defensive line preparing in any special way for this match?

– Yes, "Polissya" has a pretty good attacking line, so we need to be cautious with them. I think we should play tighter and not give them much time to think. We will try to do this, I think we will succeed.
