Yevhen Nazarov: "Not everything went according to plan in terms of creation"
Senior coach of "Metalist 1925" U19 Yevhen Nazarov commented on the match against "Zorya" in the 12th round of the youth championship:
– What can you say about the game today? Perhaps the absence of leaders like Kondratiuk, Korol, and Karpizyn was felt. What went wrong for the team today?
– If the team lost, it means that something or someone was missing. I want to congratulate the opponent on a good game. We tried to change the course of the game and respond with a goal, but it didn't work out. I'll say it again: it's disappointing to concede from a set piece. It seems like we're working on it, which means we're not working enough.
– What did the boys fail to do today to achieve a more positive result?
– We would have liked the flanks to work more actively, to create sharpness from there: passes and shots. But in this situation, we have fewer complaints about the extreme forwards because they depend on passes. In order for them to do something upfront, they need to be provided with these passes. But, unfortunately, not everything worked out for us in terms of creating chances.
