The first week of the foreign training camp of the women's football club "Metalist 1925" will end with a friendly match against the Indian national team. For both teams, this will be their first friendly match of the year.

Our opponents arrived in Antalya on January 15 and started preparing for the Asian Cup, for which the "blue tigresses" qualified for the first time since 2003. The competition will take place in Australia from March 1 to March 25. In addition to the match with the most titled team of Ukraine, coached by Crispin Chetri, the team will also play in Turkey against Swiss teams "Zurich" (01/21) and "Schlieren" (01/24).

Among the current players of "Metalist 1925," Daryna Bondarchuk, Iryna Podolska, Veronika Andrukhiv, Viktoriia Hiryn, and Olha Basanska also played in that match, while two more - Anna Petryk and Tamila Khimich - remained on the bench.
