Valeriy Dubko: "Adaptation won't take much time"

The third winter newcomer of "Metalist 1925" Valeriy Dubko shared about his transfer to the club, discussed the aspects of his choice, and shared expectations regarding adaptation:

- Welcome to the club, how do you feel right now?

- I am extremely happy to have joined "Metalist 1925". I feel joy and motivation to work.

- In the press, there was a lot of talk about your transfer, did it affect the process?

- It didn't affect at all. I would say it was quite the opposite, it was nice to read articles about myself and realize that there was attention towards me.

- In the presentation video, Krupskyi and Pavlyuk were featured, with whom you crossed paths at "Vorskla". Did you consult with the guys about the transfer?

- I can't say that I consulted specifically with them. But I learned about the team and the specifics of the training process.

- What was it like to play against "Metalist 1925" in the first round, what can you say about the team's playing qualities?

- I was on the field against "Metalist 1925" at the beginning of the season, at that time the team was just starting the season, but it wasn't easy. It was evident that the team was tactically and technically skilled, and also had experienced and quality players.

- Were there other options and why did you choose "Metalist 1925"?

- I started communicating with "Metalist 1925" first. It's an ambitious club that sets high goals for itself and does a lot to achieve them.

- How much time do you think you will need to adapt and understand the coach's ideas?

- I think adaptation won't take much time. Many things are explained and adjusted during the training period. Also, there are familiar guys who help to go through this stage faster.

- What personal goals do you set for yourself at "Metalist 1925"?

- I want to develop and become a better version of myself, and I also want to help the team achieve its goals and tasks.
