Yevhen Nazarov "The team's result is the result of teamwork"

Senior coach of "Metalist 1925" U-19 Yevhen Nazarov summed up the victory of his team over "Kryvbas" and noted that the success of the team is the result of the joint work of the players, coaching staff, and all the personnel:

- Congratulations on the victory. How would you rate today's match overall? Did everything go as planned, and what contributed to the team achieving a positive result?

- Thank you for the congratulations. First of all, I want to say that the team's result is the result of teamwork. Football is a team game, and the victory is contributed not only by the players who started the game but also by those who came on as substitutes or remained on the bench. Of course, the coaching staff and the entire team personnel also play an important role.

- How well did the team implement what was prepared during the training camp today? Are you satisfied with the discipline and execution of the game plan?

- A lot of work was done. I want to mention that during the training camp, we played control games and shared them on social media for free access, including for our opponents. While preparing for this match, we faced some difficulties because "Kryvbas" U-19 had not played official games for a long time, and finding information about the team on social media was practically impossible. Our analyst couldn't find the necessary materials on his own, so we had to use personal connections and contacts. In the end, we managed to access a recording of one game, which greatly helped in preparation. We were able to analyze key moments in detail and understand in which situations the opponent acts most dangerously. Thanks to this, we were prepared for what "Kryvbas" would try to do in crucial moments of the match.

- Could you highlight any players separately today? Who, in your opinion, had the most influence on the result?

- The whole team played well today. Of course, there were mistakes, but these are working moments that we will work on. I want to specifically mention and congratulate our debutants - today, three players made their debut on the field for the first time at the National U-19 League level. This is an important event for them, and I sincerely rejoice for the guys and congratulate them on their debut. Congratulations to all of us on the victory and thank you for the support!
