Zabergja's loaf: "Happy with my first goal"

Author of the winning goal for "Metalist 1925" Baton Zabergja shared his emotions from the victory and debut goal in official matches:

- Baton, congratulations on the victory! Your goal today was decisive. How do you feel right now?

- First of all, I am very happy about the win and three points. And, of course, I am happy about my first goal and hope to continue scoring in every game.

- Overall, today's match was very challenging, although at the start of the game it seemed like there shouldn't be any problems, as there were many opportunities.

- Yes, we had many chances, and I think we should be calmer when creating opportunities to win.

- Today, several teammates were unable to participate due to illnesses. How much do you think the squad situation affected the course of the match?

- We have a very good team. Even if some players are absent due to health reasons, we have a very good squad. But, of course, we can always improve.

- During your time with the team, you have already shown yourself to be a true utility player - playing on the left, right, as a forward, in defense. Where do you feel most comfortable?

- In my previous team, I played in three or four different positions. I could act on the right, left, as a striker, and sometimes in midfield. But I feel most comfortable on the right flank.

- Today, you took on the responsibility of taking the penalty. Was it your initiative or a directive from the coaching staff?

- Initially, Denis Antyuk was supposed to take the penalty. Then I took the responsibility and I am glad I was able to score.

- While taking the penalty, when you saw that the opponent's goalkeeper touched the ball, did your heart skip a beat? What were you feeling?

- Yes, maybe I should have shot stronger. But it's good that the ball went into the net. When you score, no one asks how it happened.

- Do you think this victory will help, at least mentally, approach the very important Cup match with a better mood?

- Yes, this victory came at the right moment. Last week, maybe we were a bit unlucky not to win as well. But I think this victory will help us prepare better.
