"Metalist 1925" U-13 - bronze medalists of the "Football Weekend" tournament
From March 23rd to 26th, the traditional tournament "Football Weekend" among players born in 2013 took place in Cherkasy. In total, 12 teams competed for the victory, including the players of the academy "Metalist 1925" under the guidance of Serhiy Starodubtsev and Vadym Khristinyuk.
In the group stage, our boys achieved three victories and topped Group A to advance to the semifinals. In the semifinals, despite having the advantage, they narrowly lost to "OFKIP-Polissya" - 0:1. And in the match for the bronze medals, they secured a convincing victory over "Oleksandriya" - 3:1.
