Head coach of the women's team "Metalist 1925" Natalia Zinchenko commented on the 5-0 victory over "Vorskla" in the Ukrainian Cup semi-final:
— The team defeated "Vorskla" and advanced to the Cup final. What are your impressions of the game?
— Impressions are positive, as we will be playing in the Ukrainian Cup final, which I congratulate the team and our fans on!
— Today there was a slight rotation of the squad, is this related to the upcoming national team matches?
— Yes, we wanted the national team players to rest a bit, but at the same time we wanted them to be in good shape. Some played more, some played less, in the second half we played in an economical mode. I liked how the substitutes came on, adding movement and mobility.
— Did the air alarms affect the game and the girls' mindset?
— Lately we have gotten used to alarms during matches. We got a bit more active, came out and played well.
— What are the future plans, as there will be a big break in national team matches in April?
— We are sending 14 players to the national teams of different ages, and we will take a little break and start preparing for the final stage of the championship and the Cup final.
