Yevhen Nazarov: "A lot happened on the field, just lacked the final shot"
Senior coach of "Metalist 1925" U-19 Yevhen Nazarov commented on the goalless draw with "Zorya" in the 27th round match of the youth championship:
— Please analyze the match.
— Unfortunately, we couldn't score a goal, but overall we are satisfied with the players' performance and how the match went. Many things worked on the field. We just lacked the final shot - somewhere we needed to act more accurately, somewhere we didn't have time to shoot. And to win, you need to score.
— In your opinion, was the draw deserved based on today's game or should the team have won?
— We would have liked the team to win after a fairly good game. Although the opponent had their moments too. Probably, the result is predictable.
— The team has another match on Monday. How important is it to recover quickly after today's tough match?
— You are right. The young guys should understand that recovery is an integral part of the process. Therefore, today we will start recovery measures to be fully prepared for the game on Monday.
