Zabergja's loaf: "We were supposed to win this match"

The midfielder of "Metalist 1925" Baton Zabergja summed up the draw with "Karpaty", talked about his goal celebration and the winless streak:

— Congratulations on the goal. How did you deal with the situation of converting chances?

— Thank you. I am happy to score, but not happy with the result because we should have won this match. We had a few more opportunities, as I mentioned earlier, we need to be calmer. When you have chances - you have to score, because that's football. If you don't score - you get punished. So I am not satisfied at all.

— What did your gesture during the goal celebration mean?

— My celebration is the eagle. The eagle symbolizes my people, my nation, where I come from. When you show the eagle - everyone in the world knows that you are from Albania and Kosovo. It was just an emotional gesture, nothing more.

— How difficult was the match against "Karpaty"?

— I think "Karpaty" is a good team, but we were better. However, in the second half at a certain moment, we fell out of the game, and the opponent punished us for that.

— Are you satisfied with the draw or not?

— Of course not. We should have won this match to move up in the standings.

— Five matches without a win. How do you feel?

— I think that defeat in the cup match hit us emotionally very hard. But this is football. We need to move on. We have to improve with every game, and I hope that after these two defeats, we will become stronger and win two matches.
