The midfielder of "Metalist 1925" Ramik Hadzhiev - about the long recovery after injury, entering the field in the match against "Epicenter" and a draw with the team of Nagornyak:
— Ramik, we are glad to finally see you on the field. We just talked to the head coach Mladen Bartulovich. He said he wanted to field you earlier, but was somewhat cautious. How did you personally anticipate your chance? And what did you feel when you realized you would enter the field?
— Yes, I returned to the general group, and I was fully prepared for every game. I always wanted to go out and help the team. I didn't feel unready to play - I just worked and waited for my chance. Thanks to the coaching staff for finally letting me return today after a long journey. I haven't played official matches for over eight months, and it was very important for me.
— Did you already know during the match that you would be substituted in?
— Yes, I knew before the game that they planned to field me. So I was already prepared and understood that I would enter the field.
— You entered the game quite actively - immediately created a chance.
— Yes, there could have almost been a goal. But again, a draw... We have had several such matches, and we just can't win. I really want a victory to finish the championship on a good note.
— In your opinion, what will help end the season positively? What is missing, as you are leading in the score, but end up with a draw again?
— It's hard to say for sure. Every team has such periods. Right now, the main thing is to gather for the last game and give it all to win. And what exactly is missing - that's probably a question for the coaching staff.
— It's evident that the team is charged up, despite the end of the season. You waited for your chance for a long time - and finally got it today.
— Yes, I also waited for my chance. I wanted to win, but "Epicenter" is a good team, it's never easy with them. By the way, they beat "Polissya" and now took points again. They deserve credit. But in football, a draw is often perceived as a normal result, although when it's a series - it's more challenging.
— What's happening in the locker room? How is the team coping with this series of draws?
— Of course, everyone is saddened. After the cup match, when we didn't advance, we can't catch a winning momentum. It accumulates, and with each game, it gets harder. We want to win and take our points because I believe we don't deserve such results. It just feels like something is missing.
