Daria Boyko: "This championship is the result of the great work of the whole team"

President of the Women's Football Club "Metalist 1925" Daria Boyko congratulated the team on winning the Ukrainian championship and summed up the competition:

- First of all, I want to congratulate our football players, coaching staff, team personnel, club management, and all fans on winning the championship of Ukraine.

This is a great achievement and a very important moment for the entire structure of "Metalist 1925". The team has gone through a difficult path, showed character, stability, and quality. This championship is the result of great daily work, professional attitude, and belief in a common goal.

We are very proud of our girls. They represented the club, Kharkiv, and Ukrainian women's football with dignity. Ahead of the team is another important match this season - the final of the Ukrainian Cup, which we really want to win. And next season, a new challenge awaits us - the Champions League.

- What does this championship mean to you?

- It's not just a title. It confirms that the team is moving in the right direction. For us, it was important not only to win but also to show the level, character, and attitude towards the matter. "Metalist 1925" Women's Football Club is a team with a great history of victories, and we are glad that this season it has once again confirmed its status as the strongest in Ukraine.

- What contributed to the team becoming champions?

- Through unity, discipline, and professionalism. We have a very strong team - both on the field and beyond. The players understood the responsibility, the coaching staff did their job qualitatively, and the club created conditions for the team to focus on the result.

- How important is this achievement for the development of women's football in the "Metalist 1925" system?

- Very important. We want women's football to be a full part of the club, not a separate direction. This championship shows that we have a strong team, great ambitions, and potential for further development. For young girls, this is also an important signal: there are opportunities in women's football, there is perspective, and there are examples to follow.

- What are the emotions after winning the championship?

- First of all - pride. For the team, for the girls, for all the people who worked for this result. There was a lot of joy, but at the same time an understanding of how much work is behind this championship. Such moments are remembered for a long time.

- What's next?

- First - the final of the Ukrainian Cup. We need to prepare well, play our match, and win another trophy. And only after that, we will fully think about the next season and the Champions League.

The championship is not the final point, but a new level of responsibility. Ahead are new tasks, new challenges, and new work. We want the Women's Football Club "Metalist 1925" to continue to be a leader in Ukrainian women's football.
