Ukraine national team goalkeeper Georgiy Yermakov may return to the UPL to continue his career at "Kharkiv".
According to TaToTake, after being with the Ukrainian national team, the goalkeeper has given his principled consent to move to the Kharkiv club. However, to finalize the deal, an agreement must be reached with his current club - "Maccabi Haifa", which wants to receive 5 million euros for Georgiy's transfer.
Currently, "Kharkiv" is awaiting a response from the Israeli side regarding their proposal. It is reported that the current offer is more advantageous than the previous one. Previously, the potential deal was in the range of 2.3-2.5 million euros, but now the Kharkiv team has improved their conditions.
Yermakov moved to the Israeli club in the summer of 2025 from Olexandriya. Last season, the goalkeeper played 37 matches for Maccabi Haifa, conceded 45 goals, and kept 12 clean sheets. The Transfermarkt portal values the 24-year-old player at 2.5 million euros. In May, Yermakov received his debut call-up to the Ukrainian national team for matches against Poland and Denmark, but did not take to the field.
