Smoliakov confirms readiness to change club amid interest from "Kharkiv"
The defender of the American team "Los Angeles" Artem Smolyakov, who has recently been actively linked to a move to "Kharkiv", did not rule out the possibility of changing clubs in the near future.
After a change in the head coach at "Los Angeles", the 23-year-old player started receiving less playing time. Earlier in one of his interviews, Artem Smolyakov admitted that he is ready to consider a loan option if he receives an attractive offer.
"Yes, I think such an option is quite possible. In football, everything depends on many factors. If a good option for continuing my career appears, I will definitely consider it," said Smolyakov.
It is expected that the Kharkiv club will loan the defender for one season, fully covering his salary. The agreement will also include an option to buy the player's contract in the summer of 2027.
It is worth noting that "Los Angeles" acquired Smolyakov from Zhytomyr's "Polissya" in February 2025 for 2 million euros. The contract of the Ukrainian defender with the American club is valid until December 31, 2028.
