Israeli Maccabi Haifa has agreed to include a clause in the transfer deal of Ukrainian goalkeeper Georgiy Yermakov that will allow the club to receive 15% of the amount of his future sale. This was reported by Sport5.


According to a source, the 24-year-old goalkeeper will continue his career with Kharkiv. Negotiations between the clubs lasted for a long time, and the final transfer fee amounted to 2.8 million euros.


It is noted that initially Maccabi rejected an offer of 2.5 million euros, after which the Ukrainian club had to increase it by another 300 thousand euros. In addition, the Israeli side insisted on including a clause of 15% of Yermakov's possible future sale amount in the deal.


The goalkeeper himself agreed to the transfer and asked the Maccabi management not to hinder his return to the Ukrainian championship.


Last season, Georgiy Yermakov played 37 matches for the Israeli club, conceded 45 goals, and kept a clean sheet 12 times. According to Transfermarkt, his transfer value is 2.5 million euros.


The goalkeeper also received a call-up to the Ukrainian national team from head coach Andrea Maldera and was included in the squad for the national team's matches against Poland and Denmark.
