History: The modern history of "Kryvbas" began in 2020. The club was founded on the basis of FC "Hirnyk", which had represented Kryvyi Rih in professional football for over 10 years and developed its own academy. The revived "Kryvbas" quickly rose from the Second League to the elite division: in 2021, the team entered the First League, and in 2022, it earned the right to compete in the UPL.
Achievements: After returning to professional football in 2021, "Kryvbas" reached the First League and finished second in the 2021/22 season, earning promotion to the UPL. The highest achievement of the modern "Kryvbas" in the elite division is the bronze medals of the Ukrainian championship in the 2023/24 season.
