Transfer of Ukrainian midfielder fell through at Zorya
The transfer of midfielder Ivan Lytvynenko from Metalist 1925 to Zorya was canceled at the last moment, despite the serious interest of the Luhansk club.
Zorya missed out on the last-minute transfer of 25-year-old midfielder Ivan Lytvynenko from Metalist 1925. This information is reported by Inside UPL.
The 25-year-old player was not in the immediate plans of the Kharkiv club and was actively looking for new career opportunities. The player had substantive negotiations with the Luhansk team and even reached preliminary agreements, as the coaching staff of Zorya was very interested in this signing.
However, the midfielder changed his decision after receiving a more attractive offer from Lithuanian Žalgiris. Weighing all the pros and cons, Lytvynenko chose to move to Europe, considering this step safer and more correct for himself and his family.
