Zabergdja: "Kharkiv's goals are to enter the top-3 and go as far as possible in the Cup"

Winger of "Kharkiv" Baton Zabergdja shared his personal plans for the season and talked about the tasks facing the team.

– Last season you had 8 goals + 3 assists. Now it's already 4+3. How do you evaluate your form at the moment? What is the reason for such a change in performance?

– Last season was my first here, I needed time to adapt and get to know the league better. This year is easier for me, and I think I'm moving in the right direction. I hope I can continue in the same spirit.

– What are your individual goals for this season? Do you have a specific number of goals and assists you want to achieve?

– My individual goal is to continue scoring and helping the team succeed.

– What are the goals of "Kharkiv" as a team for this season?

– "Kharkiv" is a very organized team with everything it needs. Of course, the club's goals are to enter the top 3 in the standings and try to go as far as possible in the Cup.

– Lately, there have been many air alarms in Ukraine. Is it difficult for you and your teammates to stay focused when matches are interrupted or even postponed?

– Of course, it's not easy, but we are already used to this situation. We need to keep moving forward. I hope everything will be fine in the future and it will get easier.

– The previous match with "Zorya" was played two [days] ago. Now the game with "Kryvbas" has been postponed. How does this affect your mood before the match as a footballer? Are you able to stay in optimal form?

– Of course, it's not the same. When you start playing a match, then it's stopped, and you need to start again in 30-40 minutes, it's not easy – for you and for other players. But we still try to stay in the best shape and achieve our goals.

– The name of the president of "Kharkiv" Bogdan Boyko is mentioned in a case regarding corrupt schemes. Do footballers discuss this situation among themselves? Does it affect the team?
