Christian Mba: "We are going only for victory"

The forward of "Metalist 1925" Christian Mba shared his thoughts on the game against "Epicenter" and recalled the first round match:

— Ahead of the match against "Epicenter". What are the main expectations for this game?

— We are going only for a victory. We need to regain the psychology of winners. Right now, we are not satisfied with everything that is happening, but we are going to the match against "Epicenter" with only one goal - to win.

— The team is currently on a winless streak. How do you feel psychologically right now?

— I think many of us are emotionally drained. But we are professionals, so we have to go through this and return to our best form.

— What needs to change to finally turn the situation around?

— I think after the defeat in the cup match, many have lost motivation. But this is wrong. We must keep our spirits high and not lose focus, because it's not over yet. There are still matches ahead.

— Is there any additional tension within the team due to the recent results?

— No, no. We remain one team, one collective. Everyone works very hard, everyone is disciplined and focused. Of course, many are unhappy with the results and the lack of victories, but we will definitely come back stronger. I believe in that.

— What is currently lacking the most in the team: finishing, confidence, or stability?

— As I said, the emotional state is not the best right now. But I don't think we lack anything. Each player has their own strengths, and overall we have a very good team. Everyone has seen what we are capable of in the championship. Such periods happen to every team, but we will come back even stronger.

— The first match against "Epicenter" ended in a draw. What do you remember about that game?

— We went there for a victory, but we didn't win. We played 0:0, and we are not happy with that. Now we want to make it right. I think we should respond to them in this match and use all our sports anger and emotions to achieve victory.

— What qualities of our team can help defeat "Epicenter"?

— We must act aggressively from the first minutes. We need to give it our all, from the first to the last minute of the match we have to play as aggressively as possible and with great dedication.
