Andrea Maldare called Ukraine "our country"
The head coach of the Ukrainian national team Andrea Maldera commented after visiting the training of "Kharkiv".
– Who from the players of "Kharkiv" is in your field of vision?
– We pay attention to specific positions. My assistants Taras Stepanenko and Volodymyr Yezersky know many players better than me. I don't want to name names, I don't want it to seem like I came to watch just one player and then noticed another. But yes, we have a focus on certain positions.
– What advice would you give to players who want to become regular players of the Ukrainian national team?
– Listen to your coach, follow his demands. It's not easy to find motivation every day now, as our country is going through a very difficult period, but there must be motivation. The opportunity to play for the national team can be such motivation for every player.
