Ukrainian youth national team lost to Germany in the Euro 2026 semi-final
Youth national football team of Ukraine lost to Germany in the semi-finals of Euro 2026 (U-19). The match at the "Reyskors Ground" stadium in Rexem (Wales) ended with a score of 1:2.
Under the guidance of Dmytro Mykhailenko, the team opened the scoring at the end of the first half - in the 43rd minute Vitaliy Glut scored his third goal of the tournament, heading in a cross from Nikita Kalyuzhny.
In stoppage time of the first half, in the 45+1st minute, the Germans equalized - Otto Stange precisely shot into the right corner.
And in stoppage time of the second half, Bundesteam snatched the victory - in the 90+1st minute, Francis Onyeka scored the winning goal.
For Ukraine, this was the second semi-final in the last three years at the youth Euro football - in 2024, our team lost to France (0:1) in the semi-finals.
