Vitaliy Yermakov will continue his career at Obolon after leaving Chornomorets
An experienced central defender has joined the Kyiv club as a free agent.
Obolon has officially announced the signing of central defender Vitaliy Yermakov, who has joined the Kyiv team after finishing his contract with Chornomorets.
The 34-year-old footballer moved to the capital club as a free agent. He will play for the new team wearing the number three shirt.
Yermakov is a product of Alchevsk's Stal. Throughout his professional career, he has also played for Avangard, Desna, Kharkiv, and Chornomorets. It was at the Odessa club where the defender played the most matches — 102.
In the 2025/26 season, Yermakov played 24 matches in the First League and appeared twice in Ukrainian Cup matches.
Overall, the defender has played 307 official matches in his career, scoring 14 goals and providing seven assists.
