RB Salzburg defender comments on victory over FC Kharkiv
After defeating FC "Kharkiv" (4:0) in the final friendly match of the summer training camp, RB Salzburg defender Franz Kretzeg summed up the meeting.
"We kept our goal 'dry' and scored four goals against the opponent, who started the match very well. However, we managed to react correctly, converted our chances, and deservedly won. We worked a lot and intensively during the training camp. Now the main thing is to maintain this stability in our game. We have two days off ahead, after which we will return to work because we have three more friendly matches ahead," Kretzeg said.
FC "Kharkiv" will play their next friendly match today against Austrian side "Wolfsberg," coached by Mladen Bartulovich.
It is worth noting that the defeat to RB Salzburg was the second for Kharkiv in three friendly matches of the summer break. Earlier, Mladen Bartulovich's team lost to Swiss side "Young Boys" (0:2) but secured a convincing victory over Azerbaijani side "Karabakh" with a score of 6:2.
