Taras Stepanenko, assistant coach of the Ukrainian national team Andrea Maldera, talked about the interest of the coaching staff in players from Kharkiv.
Representatives of the national team visited the training camp of Kharkiv players in Austria. Stepanenko emphasized that the coaches came not only to see midfielder Ivan Kalyuzhnyi.
"I will say this: besides Ivan, there are other players who are on the extended list of the national team. How many players from the football club 'Kharkiv' are on the radar? I won't say anything, but it's not one or two, there is a whole list," Taras explained.
In the fall, the Ukrainian national team will play in the Nations League in the same group as Georgia, Northern Ireland, and Hungary.
