Head coach of "Hradec Kralove": "I am glad we did not lose this match"

The head coach of Czech team "Hradec Kralove" David Goreish summed up the friendly match against "Kharkiv", which ended in a productive draw - 3:3.

According to the coach, his team had two completely different halves. While he was dissatisfied with the first half of the match, the game of his team significantly improved after the break.

"We were not satisfied with the first half at all. We lacked movement, aggression, and intensity. We were slow with the ball, and even gifted the opponent a second goal. All of this led to a very weak game in the first half of the match.

The substitutions helped the team. The second half was radically different. We saw exactly the game that we practice in training. The team added intensity, movement, and desire, which allowed us to score three goals."

Despite the positive changes in the attack, the coach acknowledged that his team needs to seriously work on defense.

We are not satisfied with how we defended. Today we made too many mistakes. It is especially disappointing that after taking the lead 3:2, we almost immediately conceded a very simple goal. If we play like this in the first half in official championship matches, it will be a big problem.

I am glad that we did not lose this match and were able to salvage the result. It is a good ending to the training camp, but today's defensive mistakes should be an important lesson for us," the coach noted.

It is worth reminding that in the lineup of "Kharkiv," Carlos Parako scored a brace, while Ivan Bagriy scored another goal. Mladen Bartulovich's team continues its training camp in Austria.
