Following the results of the first Eurocup week of the 2026/27 season, Ukraine improved its position in the UEFA coefficient table.
Let's remind that last Thursday in the second leg match of the 1st qualifying round of the Europa League, Kyiv's "Dynamo" defeated Romanian "Universitatea" from Cluj on penalties (0:0, pen. - 4:2) and advanced to the next round of the tournament.
As a result, Ukraine moved up from 22nd to 21st place in the UEFA coefficient table, surpassing Austria. Meanwhile, Romania, which pushed Ukraine down to 22nd place a week ago, remains higher.
It is worth noting that the final UEFA coefficient table in the current season will determine the representation of countries in the Eurocups of the 2028/29 season.
