The new era of women's football: MEGOGO will broadcast matches of the debut season of the elite Prime League

MEGOGO will broadcast matches of the debut season of the Prime League - the new elite division of the Ukrainian championship among women's clubs.

The media service is the information partner of the tournament and will show selected matches of each round on the OTT platform, the channel "MEGOGO Football First," and in the "Football" section under the "Sports" category.

You can watch selected matches of the Prime League as part of the "Sports" subscription and as part of all "MEGOPACK" packages. Already on Sunday, July 19, MEGOGO will show the match of the first round "Metalist 1925" - "Kolos." Start - at 11:00. The match will be commented by Pavlo Posokhov.

In the debut season of the Prime League, eight clubs will compete, which have passed the certification procedure and have the right to compete in the new elite division:

- "Kolos" (Kovalivka);

- "Kryvbas" (Kryvyi Rih);

- "Ladomyr" (Volodymyr);

- "Metalist 1925" (Kharkiv);

- "Panthers" (Uman);

- "Polissya" (Zhytomyr);

- "Sisters" (Odesa);

- "Shakhtar" (Donetsk).

The 2026/2027 season will be held for the first time in a new format. The teams will play the championship in four rounds in the classic "home and away" system. Each club will play 28 matches, and in total, fans will see 112 matches. This format guarantees high sports competition, more principled confrontations, and a consistently high level of intrigue throughout the season.

It is planned to hold 17 rounds before the winter break, with the last one taking place on November 20. In the spring, the championship will resume from the 18th round, and the final, 28th round is scheduled for the end of May 2027.

The creation of the Prime League is not just a change in the format of the competition. It is a strategic step in the development of Ukrainian women's football aimed at forming a strong national championship that meets modern European standards. The new league is intended to be a platform for the development of clubs, players, coaches, and the entire football ecosystem, as well as to help increase the interest of fans and partners in women's football.
