The previous season of the National U-19 League was one of the most fruitful in terms of penalties
The past season of the National U-19 League (the 14th in the tournament's history) was one of the most fruitful in terms of penalties. Referees awarded 75 penalties, with 55 of them being converted.
The number of penalties in the 2025/26 season puts it in 5th-6th place in the historical ranking.
Penalties were taken by players from 15 clubs, with the most penalty kicks taken by the youth teams of "Shakhtar" (10, 9 of which were converted) and "Veres" (9/5).
The home teams took 39 penalties, scoring 28 goals, while the away teams took penalties 36 times, scoring 27 goals.
In total, throughout the history of the National U-19 League, there have been 996 penalties awarded, with 751 of them converted.
