10 goals in the match for third place: England beat France

The England national team defeated France 6-4 in the match for third place at the 2026 World Cup.

On the third minute, Declan Rice intercepted the ball in the center of the field, approached the penalty area, and scored a precise shot into the corner of the goal. On the 18th minute, Ezri Konsa doubled England's lead, accurately heading the ball in after a corner kick.

On the 37th minute, winger Bukayo Saka made the score overwhelming, and just before the end of the first half, he completed a brace.

At the beginning of the second half, Kylian Mbappe scored one goal back, shortly after which Bradley Barkola reduced the French deficit to two goals. On the 66th minute, Mbappe completed a brace, but towards the end of the match, Saka completed a hat-trick by converting a penalty kick.

In injury time, Usman Dembele scored the fourth goal for France, but England responded with a precise strike from Jude Bellingham.

The 2026 World Cup final between the national teams of Spain and Argentina will take place on Sunday, July 19, starting at 22:00 Kyiv time.
