Journalist and commentator Viktor Vatsko, on the air of his YouTube channel, revealed which clubs of the Ukrainian Premier League refused to field their teams for the upcoming season of the National U-19 League.
Important! According to the latest version of the Regulations, the participation of UPL youth teams in the National U-19 League is no longer mandatory.

According to Vatsko, in the next season of the National U-19 League, the teams of four active UPL clubs will not participate:
Zorya Luhansk;
Epitsentr (Kamianets-Podilskyi);
Kudrivka (Chernihiv Oblast);
Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih.
In which competitions are the youth and youth teams of UPL clubs required to participate?
Previously, the championship for players under 19 was mandatory for all elite division clubs, and starting from the 2026/27 season, the tournament for U-21 teams, which has not been held since 2021, will become mandatory.
In addition, UPL teams are required to ensure the participation of at least four of their teams in the National League of the future (U-14, U-15, U-16, U-17). If there are senior youth teams in the club's structure, they can compete in national or regional competitions recognized by the UAF.
Also, representatives of the Premier League are required to have women's teams in their structure, which is a mandatory condition from the 2021/22 season.

According to the data from the information-statistical database of the UAF S.T.A.R.T., in the upcoming edition of the National U-19 League, teams of senior youth players from 14 clubs will compete, including representatives from the UPL, First and Second Leagues:

Karpaty Lviv;
Veres Rivne;
Obolon Kyiv;
Rukh Lviv;

FC Lviv (with a note, the meaning of which is currently unknown).
