Readers of "Focus" magazine included FC "Kharkiv" in the top six best clubs in Ukraine

The Focus has completed the voting in the rating "Best Football Clubs of Ukraine 2026: People's Vote". Readers could vote for the club they consider the best.

For the convenience of readers, we also offered a number of criteria by which it was possible to determine which of the clubs is the best:

overall level of the club;
quality of the team and football;
development of infrastructure in the city where the team plays matches;
work with fans;
development of youth football;
representation of Ukraine on the international stage.

The first and second places received an equal number of votes.

The leaders of the people's vote for the best football club in Ukraine were Odessa's "Chornomorets" and Zhytomyr's "Polissya".

This year, the residents of Odessa returned to the Ukrainian Premier League. Despite constant shelling of Odessa by Russian occupiers, the club continues to develop and progress. A significant role is played by the legendary coach of Odessa, Roman Hryhorchuk, who has taken over "Chornomorets" for the third time.

"Polissya" is in its third season of competing in European competitions. Since the summer of 2025, the team has been led by the legendary player Ruslan Rotan, who previously did fantastic work at "Oleksandriya". The club continues to combine bright foreign players with strong Ukrainian players.

In addition, "Polissya" actively invests in youth - there is a "Polissya-2" team in the first league, consisting mainly of young footballers.

Interestingly, "Chornomorets" and "Polissya" will play against each other in the first round of the new season of the Ukrainian Premier League.

The third place in the rating was taken by Kyiv's "Dynamo" - a club that has been considered the country's main club for many years.
