The former coach of "Vorskla", "Chornomorets", and "Mariupol" Oleksandr Babych shared his forecast for the new season of the Ukrainian Premier League. In his opinion, "Kharkiv" will finish higher in the standings than Kyiv's "Dynamo" and will compete for the championship medals.
At the same time, Babych highly praised the prospects of FC "Kharkiv". In an interview with Sport.ua, he noted that the club has strengthened its squad and brought in experienced Mykola Pavlov.
"Kharkiv has signed quality foreign players. In addition, the club has been reinforced by the authoritative specialist Mykola Pavlov, who knows all the intricacies of our football."
According to the expert, the ambitious club management and quality selection will allow the team to enter the competition for top places in their debut season in the UPL.
"Considering the ambitious plans of the Kharkiv leadership, I predict that the team will take a high place. I think they can compete for the bronze medals."
Thus, Babych believes that "Kharkiv" has all the prerequisites to become one of the main revelations of the new season and challenge the traditional giants of Ukrainian football.
