The midfielder of "Kharkiv" Ramik Hadzhiev shared his emotions after the game with "Veres", recalled his goal, which was decisive in the game, and described the importance of the victory at the start of the season:
— Ramik, what is it like to be the hero of the match?
— It's nice. I'm glad I scored. The first game after rebranding under the name "Kharkiv" was a historic game. I am very happy that we won, and that I became the goal scorer. I am a Kharkiv native and I am very proud of it.
— The game unfolded in such a way that you created chances, but couldn't score. Mladen then made substitutions. What words, what instructions did the head coach give you when he sent you onto the field?
— He said: "Let's go, Ramik," and that's it - I went. Of course, when the coach sends me, an attacking player, on in the final minutes, he hopes that I will help score a goal and make a productive action to help us win. So I am grateful to him for putting me on the field today, and that I converted that chance and scored.
— Did you read the situation and anticipate your moment to shine?
— I just ran into the penalty area and waited for my moment, because it was necessary to score. And it turned out that the ball bounced right to me, there was a scoring position, and I was able to convert it.
— If I'm not mistaken, this is your first goal after the injury, at an official level? I think it's personally important for you as well.
— Yes, but I am already trying to forget about what happened last season. I have gone through it, mentally and physically became stronger. And this was only the second game after my return to the field in an official match. I am very happy that I scored. And what happened in the past stays behind.
— It was very loud in the "Kharkiv" dressing room just now. You managed to run there. What was it like, what speech did the president give?
— He thanked everyone for the game, for fighting until the last minutes. He is also happy that we won. I think we should have scored much earlier and made this victory easier, rather than dragging it out until the last minutes. But a win is a win. This is the first game, the start of the season, and it's always challenging. It's good that we won today and took three points.
— The start of the season was indeed challenging, at least according to the calendar. How motivating is this victory? Does it give you confidence in your abilities?
— Of course, because I can't even imagine what the mood would be like for the next games if we hadn't won today. And now everyone is in a good mood. Everyone will rest with their heads held high and already prepare for the next matches. We have two tough opponents ahead, so we will be preparing.
— You noted that this is the first official goal for "Kharkiv". Do you keep anything as a memento of this match?
— I haven't thought about it yet. I will keep it in memory.
