Vorskla midfielder to lead FC Kharkiv U-21

As Sport Arena reports, the head coach of Dnister, Oleg Krasnopyorov, will lead FC Kharkiv U-21.

The 45-year-old specialist has been working at the Zalishchyky club since March 2025. Prior to that, he coached Yarud and Vorskla's reserve team.

It is worth noting that Krasnopyorov previously played in Kharkiv for Metalist. His playing career also includes appearances for Vorskla, Illichivets, and other clubs.

Earlier, Metalist 1925 officially announced its renaming to FC Kharkiv. The club also presented a new emblem. The club colors have also changed - the emblem is set on a dark chestnut background with yellow elements.

It is worth reminding that the Kharkiv team will end their vacation on June 20, and the next day will undergo medical examinations, after which a mini-selection will take place in Shchaslyve. Then FC Kharkiv will head to a training camp in Austria, which will last from June 28 to July 10. During this period, the Kharkiv team plans to play seven friendly matches, details of which will be announced later.

FC Kharkiv finished in 5th place in the Ukrainian championship standings. In the Ukrainian Cup, Mladen Bartulovich's team reached the semifinals, where they lost to Chernihiv.
