Former Metalist and Epicenter player quickly changed clubs in the First League

As Sport.ua reports, "Phoenix-Mariupol" has agreed to terminate the contract with central midfielder Yegor Demchenko. The 29-year-old footballer will continue his career at "Prikarpattia" in Ivano-Frankivsk.

Interestingly, Demchenko became a player of FC "Phoenix-Mariupol" only at the end of July, and less than a month passed before his official registration.

During this time, the graduate of Zaporizhzhia football, known primarily for his performances for "Metalurh", Kramatorsk "Avangard", "Metalist", "Karpaty", and "Epicenter", spent only 7 minutes on the field and was on the bench twice. All this happened under the previous coach of the team Maxim Feshchuk, who was replaced by Bohdan Blavatsky at the helm of the red-black team on August 18.

"Prikarpattia", which currently cannot count on attacking midfielder Rostyslav Rusyn due to injury, apparently aims to compensate for the loss of one of its leaders by adding another experienced performer - Demchenko.

By the way, Ivano-Frankivsk, who had a poor start to the championship (1 point in the first three matches), jumped to fifth place in the First League standings thanks to two consecutive victories.

On Saturday, September 5, Vasyl Yatsurak's team will host "Oleksandriya", which is in third place.
