Mykola Pavlov will work at the football club "Kharkiv"

As reported by Sport.ua, 71-year-old Mykola Pavlov will join the management staff of Kharkiv, where he will serve as an advisor to the 27-year-old club president Bohdan Boyko.

After Ukraine declared independence, Pavlov was one of the first coaches in the history of the national team. At the club level, he managed Nikopol's "Kolos," "Tavria," "Dnipro," "Dynamo," Mariupol's "Metalurh" (later "Illichivets"), and "Vorskla."

Under his leadership, "Dnipro" won bronze (1992) and silver in the Premier League (1992/93), "Dynamo" became the country's champion (1994/95), and "Vorskla" won the Ukrainian Cup (2008/09).

Since December 2016, Pavlov headed the All-Ukrainian Association of Football Coaches, and from September 2017 until recently, he was the honorary president of "Left Bank."

"Kharkiv," which competed in the UPL last season under the name "Metalist 1925," finished fifth. In 30 matches, Mladen Bartulovich's team earned 51 points.
