Юрій Коротун: Важко конкурувати на українському ринку через завищені ціни

Yuriy Korotun: It is difficult to compete in the Ukrainian market due to inflated prices

FC Kharkiv does not plan to limit the search for newcomers only to the Ukrainian market. The club emphasizes that the main criterion during selection remains the quality of the player, not their country of origin.

Responding to questions about the possible strengthening of the squad with foreign players, Vice-President of FC Kharkiv Yuriy Korotun explained that the club is not tied to a specific market.

"We don't have a specific market. As you can see, there is a Colombian, a Nigerian who came from the Albanian championship, a Kosovar in the squad. So we do not limit ourselves to a specific direction of search - we consider players from different countries and championships," the club stated.

Also, in Kharkiv, they noted the difficulties of working in the internal transfer market of Ukraine.

"It is very difficult to compete in the Ukrainian market because the prices of players are often inflated, especially when it comes to a transfer to a competitor," the club explained.

In conclusion, Kharkiv emphasized that the geography of the search for newcomers remains as broad as possible.

"It could be an African, Albanian, or a player from any other country. We primarily look at the quality of the player," said Korotun.
