Defender of Sofia's CSKA Lombardello, who was of interest to Dynamo Kyiv, is most likely not going to change clubs in the near future and will remain in the Bulgarian team. This was reported by "Tema Sport".
The blue and white indeed considered signing the 27-year-old central defender from the Kosovo national team and were ready to pay around a million euros. It was about activating a clause of approximately 950 thousand euros.
Kyiv's interest in Dellova arose after the end of the previous season when the club was looking for options to strengthen the center of defense. However, the negotiations are currently on hold.
One of the reasons was the footballer's injury: Dellova suffered a foot fracture and has been recovering for several weeks.
In addition, according to a source, the player himself has doubts about moving to Ukraine due to the war. Allegedly, his decision was influenced by a conversation with his compatriot from FC Kharkiv, Batono Zaberdzha, who talked about the realities of life in the country.
