The head coach of Kharkiv, Mladen Bartulovich, shared his emotions in an interview after the team returned from vacation, talking about the team's form, newcomers, and more:
— What emotions did you return to work with after the vacation?
— I missed the guys, really wanted to work. There is a great desire to work in everyone - I see it in my staff, in myself, and in the guys. It inspires me.
— Can football coaches in general not think about football during vacation?
— No, you always think, always do something: analyze, watch players, and constantly work. But you also always want to pay attention to your family and spend time with them.
— How are the players' fitness levels? Did they all return in the required shape, in the required condition, as you expected?
— Of course, we monitored this process. They had a home program, and they did everything because they know that we have matches right away, very good matches during the training camp. They are professionals and understand that they cannot prepare and rest too much.
— Let's talk about the newcomers. Parako and Yatsyk already had their first training session with the team. What did you see in them today?
— A desire to help us. I already knew Yatsyk as a very high-quality player. And Parako is also a player from our league who performed well at "Kryvbas" this season. I believe that these players will help us, strengthen the competition and our team.
— Today, the president's advisor Mykola Pavlov was already present at the training. We saw that you were talking to him. What did you discuss primarily?
— Many things. With a person who has such experience, you can talk for days. I think it is a very good reinforcement for our club in general. He has great experience, and he can help all of us with his tips and advice. I think it's very good.
