WFC "Kharkiv" - WFC "Sisters" - 0:0. Afterword

Afterword of the head coach of the WFC "Kharkiv" Natalia Zinchenko and the head coach of the WFC "Sisters" Anatoliy Didenko after the end of the 3rd round match of the Prime League (0:0):

Natalia Zinchenko (WFC "Kharkiv")

- A match against, probably, the main competitor, the vice-champion. A very tense match. What are your impressions after it?

- I have no complaints against the girls. It's a pity they didn't convert their chances. They had them in both halves. Victories come from goals. They played well. They didn't allow anything near their goal, except for the opportunity of the Odessa girls at the end of the game. Where we need to play differently - we make mistakes, so we have to be a little nervous. I want to thank the opponent and wish them success in the Champions League. We are also heading to Belgium, where tough opponents await us. We need to recover today and start preparing for the game against "Fenerbahçe."

- Did the opponents act as you expected before the match?

- The opponent played as we expected: 5 defenders, a midfield block, then they pushed forward a bit. We prepared for different scenarios, but didn't have many plans, as we know this team well. We focused more on our actions, the game was there, but unfortunately, we didn't convert our chances.

- There was an episode with Daria Apanashchenko in the first half. What was the situation there and overall the team's lineup?

- Regarding Daria, we don't know yet - it will be known in the evening after the examination. Kunina asked for a substitution due to feeling unwell. We can't count on Slavich and Andrukhiv for now - we expect them to return at the end of August. Everyone else is heading to Belgium.

- Have you already prepared for the European Cup opponents?

- We have little information about "Fenerbahçe" because the Turkish Super League starts later. They have strengthened with several great performers. They are a strong opponent. We will rest for a day or two now and then prepare. We aim to win. We are heading to Leuven on August 3.

Anatoliy Didenko (WFC "Sisters")

- A fighting game, a lot of struggle. There were no goals scored, but the match turned out to be very interesting. What is your opinion on today's confrontation?

- I think the fans enjoyed the game. Both teams had chances, but I consider the draw result to be natural.

- How do you evaluate the actions of your players? How successful was it to implement what was planned?

- We dropped a bit in the second half, unfortunately. Probably, the road and air alarms took their toll. We could both score and concede.

- The Champions League awaits your team next. What are the plans for these days?

- We step from game to game. Now we return to Odessa, recover, and head to the match against "Sporting."
