Club named for which Jovic is ready to return to Ukraine
Name Igor Yovichevich was among the candidates for the position of head coach of Kyiv's Dynamo. Journalist Mikhail Spivakovskiy explained why the Croatian specialist is unlikely to lead the capital club.
According to Spivakovskiy, Yovichevich is currently not ready to return to Ukraine due to the war, and if he decides to work in the UPL, he will consider an offer from Kharkiv, not Dynamo:
"Igor Yovichevich, from what I know, is not ready to return to Ukraine during the war.
And if he does return, it will most likely be to FC Kharkiv, rather than Dynamo."
Currently, Igor Yovichevich remains without a club. The last team of the Croatian coach was the Polish Widzew, which he left in March 2026. Previously, the specialist worked in Ukraine with Karpaty, Dnipro-1, and Shakhtar, as well as coached Dynamo Zagreb, Celta, and Al-Raed.
