Women's FC "Kharkiv" played a draw with "Mitra" in the UEFA European Cup
On August 26, the first match of the 1st qualifying round of the women's UEFA European Cup season 2026/27 took place, in which FC "Kharkiv" met with Kosovar "Mitrovica".
The match took place at the "Zahir Pajaziti" stadium in Podujevo. The Kharkiv team started the two-match confrontation away. In 90 minutes, the opponents failed to score any goals — 0:0.
Thus, the fate of the ticket to the next round will be decided in the return match, which will take place on September 1. FC "Kharkiv" will host the home match in the capital of North Macedonia — Skopje.
Both teams qualified for the UEFA European Cup after finishing third in their mini-tournaments of the second qualifying round of the women's Champions League.
FC "Kharkiv" initially lost to Turkish "Fenerbahce" with a score of 1:2, and then defeated Serbian "FK Backa Topola" in extra time — 3:2.
