UAF considers changes to the conduct of the Ukrainian championship - source
The Ukrainian Football Association (UAF) plans to consider changes to the concept of holding the Ukrainian championship due to prolonged air alarms and the threat of Russian army strikes.
UAF representatives will monitor the upcoming round and actively work on options to resolve the situation based on its outcomes. The organization members are in active working contacts with representatives of various authorities and law enforcement agencies.
It is reported that the current level of alarms in the capital region, as well as the spread of threats to other regions, pose unprecedented challenges to match organizers.
Currently, decisions have been made to reschedule the start of matches to the earliest slot possible (13:00), but it is unknown whether this will lead to a significant improvement in the situation.
The situation became critical in the recent matches of the fourth round, when the consequences of prolonged alarms were felt by representatives of the elite division - "Kharkiv", Luhansk's "Zorya", and the confrontation between "Veres" and LNZ lasted almost seven hours.
